Embrace a safe and supportive environment when you feel all is at loss.
Hi! I’m Rachel.
Academic and Professional Background:
I’ve had the opportunity to experience an academic and professional life both in the U.S.A. and Europe. The experience officially began when working with a non profit organization in Slovakia in the midst 2000’s. In 2008, I began my studies in Boston, MA where counseling was a minor of my education at Boston Baptist College. After graduating with my undergraduate degree, I continued into a Clinical Counseling and Psychology program through La Salle University. As a master’s level student, I served clients in family therapeutic settings who specifically focused on addictions, family therapy, and trauma.
In 2016, I transferred to Texas to begin the process of licensure. I served clients both through inpatient and outpatient programs at one of Houston’s local psychiatric hospitals as the Women’s Therapist. I continued gaining experience through the private and public sector serving families, children and adolescents, single mothers, and young adults. I meet my clients where they are. I do not practice from a religious background, but upon request can be discussed.
I believe growth and learning should never end.

It’s such a pleasure to be meeting you. You have taken the time and committed to seeking out support to untangle your anxieties and traumas. I want to help you explore and understand who you are and how you can embrace life with where it took you unexpectedly. When difficult moments come upon us, we all need a safe and nonjudgmental space to talk, explore, and find comfort.
I come from a non traditional background, and have experienced mounts of diversity and culture through various life experiences both in the U.S. and Europe. The opportunity to work with my clients allows us to focus on discovering areas such as: anxiety, boundaries, self esteem, communication skills, depression, relationship conflict, grief and loss, guilt and shame, perfectionism, religious trauma, and various life transitions. Therapy is to be a safe place where one can embrace, grow, and learn.
